Machinist wanted in Pitkin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Pitkin County, Colorado. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
