Shuttering and concrete hand — Watauga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Watauga County, North Carolina. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day to day you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer.
