Join our team: we are hiring a furniture maker in Gibson County, Indiana. Day to day you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
