Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints 4+ years on the tools preferred.
