We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Rawlins County, Kansas. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
