Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Leavenworth County, Kansas. You will work on an industrial construction site. The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
