HVAC-R technician — Ripley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Ripley County, Indiana. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
