Foundry operative • Cambria County, Pennsylvania

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
