Heavy equipment operator — Metcalfe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. You will work at a landfill site. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
