Now hiring: we are hiring a warehouse forklift operator in North Yorkshire, England. The job is at a freight and logistics depot. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
