Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills Ideal candidate: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Awareness of workshop health and safety 4+ years on the tools preferred. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
