GTAW welder — Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Howard County, Maryland. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
