The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
