Fabricator-welder — Ajingi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ajingi, Kano State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
