MIG/MAG welder wanted in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
