Turning centre operator — Queen Anne's County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
