Urgent requirement: gypsum plasterer (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in San Mateo County, California. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites The role involves: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Full-time with occasional weekends.
