Gas metal arc welder — Tarmua

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Tarmua, Yobe State. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time, day shift.
