Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Washington County, Indiana. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Performance bonus on top of base pay.
