You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads.
