Rebar worker wanted in Skagway Municipality

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. You will be based on a busy residential building site. On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 4+ years on the tools preferred.
