Vacancy available: natural gas fitter (Akwa Ibom State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦285,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
