Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in DeKalb County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
