Steel fixing chargehand • Chariton County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Chariton County, Missouri. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
