Lawn care technician — Rawlins County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Rawlins County, Kansas. You will work in a botanical garden. You will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
