We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in De Baca County, New Mexico. The job is in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
