Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Carlton County, Minnesota. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet.
