Now hiring: we are hiring a glass fitter in Goochland County, Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise facade project. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift The role involves: • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames 6+ years on the tools preferred.
