Safety inspector • Tudun Wada, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Tudun Wada, Kano State. You will work at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
