Nursery worker • Humboldt County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Humboldt County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
