Urgent requirement: fire and safety officer (England)

What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
