Great opportunity: we are hiring an electrical technician in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a commercial shopping complex. Your main tasks: • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans Ideal candidate: • Normal colour vision for cable identification • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
