Immediate opening: vertical transportation technician (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Belmont County, Ohio. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces You will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
