Mechanical press operator — County of Flintshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in County of Flintshire, Wales. The job is at a busy press shop. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways.
