Great opportunity: lift maintenance fitter (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Rains County, Texas. You will work at a busy lift company. The role involves: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
