Quality checker — Bagwai

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality checker in Bagwai, Kano State. Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Day-to-day duties: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
