Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
