Finishing plasterer • Shenandoah County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. You will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. You should have: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
