We are recruiting: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Lake County, Indiana. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. On a typical shift you will prepare the mise en place before each service; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies 1+ years on the tools preferred.
