Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Kane County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Kane County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On the job you will handle: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
