Horizontal milling machine operator — Wyandotte County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Wyandotte County, Kansas. You will work in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
