Vehicle spray painter — City of Norton

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in City of Norton, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Requirements: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
