We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Red Willow County, Nebraska. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
