Bar bender and fixer wanted in Greene County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Greene County, New York. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
