Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Ekiti East, Ekiti State. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
