On a typical shift you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
