We are recruiting: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Chambers County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Rotating shifts.
