Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Rotating shifts.
