Elevator repair technician wanted in Richmond County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Richmond County, Virginia. You will work in a residential tower block. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Rotating shifts.
