Cnc turning machinist • Liberty County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Liberty County, Texas. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 5+ years on the tools preferred.
